  I have just been notified after 4 days, that there is a damage on my car for which I am 100% sure there was no damage, when i left the car with them.Unfortunately, I handed the car keys to the employee inspecting the car at the airport and didn't took the pictures, as everything was fine and no issues were raised. All of a sudden today, on 23 August 2016, I have been notified that there was a damage on the driver side. They also lied that they called me on my mobile and left a message about the damage on the same day, the only message I received on Saturday, 20 August 2016 , was that the car was due at 11 am and its 1:30 pm, even though, I have paid up until 21 August 2016, Sunday.

  Eurocar may beat its competitors in price but sadly it's frontline service at Townsville airport is letting the team down.

  I had to walk over and pre check car for damage on my own and return to counter and report damage (scrapes) on front end of rental car before starting our weekend away.

  Do not hire a car there! It is an absolute SCAM !! We filled out the tank right before we gave the car back and we were charged for fuel several days later! We are still contacting them regarding this nonsense and none of the customer service reps can give us a clear answer! Don't waste your time and money on this illegal business (to charge our card without our authorization is considered illegal). If it is too late and you already have a car make sure you take photos and keep all receipts.

  Very rude staff from the get go, yelled at me that license and payment card needed to be in same name (which it was in the same names) and not very helpful at all.

  I changed my plan to drop off the car on Saturday a day earlier instead of Sunday, no refund was issued and I wasn't expecting one. I am waiting for their email for the charges, I will not be leaving this without going to QCAT

  This place is a scam. Only go here if you want to pay a lot of money for damages outside of your rental period. I seriously advise everyone reading this to use another company. Horrible customer service, horrible system for dealing with disputes. Even if you have evidence that damages caused weren't you, they wont listen. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  I rented a car from EUROPCAR at Townsville Airport, through their website weeks in advance. When arrived, I was greeted with a wonderful smile and served immediately. Everything was explained clearly and I was not pushed into accepting ad-don's which I didn't want. Perfect customer service and when I forgot the return date (for one day) I was not charged an extra fee.. Well done - see you again and again.

  I know where not to hire our vehicles. I would gladly pay extra with another provider than go through unnecessary staff drama again.
